Raiden is a fairly new line of 1/285 aircraft minis, introduced in April 2007. Small but steadily expanding, these well received aircraft minis are cleanly cast. Pretty much a WW2 range, there are a number of planes suited for the ’46 ‘what if’ genre and a couple of Spanish Civil War planes as well. The He 51 is a gem. The P-51’s are very good models and a nice variety as well. Same for the P-40’s. POST HISTORICON NOTE. I expected to sell a bushel of planes between Origins and Historicon and had what I thought was appropriate back stock. Boy, was I wrong. Sales were brisker than expected - thank you very much - and both Raiden and Scotia were reordered while at Historicon. Per both, they ship this coming week (w/o 19 July). We order Raiden on an as needed basis, approximately every 4-6 weeks. We've also lowered our prices on the entire Raiden line due to increased sales as well as a stronger dollar vs. the pound Sterling. You guys earned it, so we'll pass it on.
